Figma makes it very convenient to merge shapes and create a new shape. Here are the steps for doing it:
1.Inside Figma, select both of the shapes you want to merge within the canvas.
2.Then, go to the right-side menu and click on the ‘More Actions’ button.
3.Look for the Union Selection option and choose it from the list.
4.When all the steps are finished, the selected shapes will be combined on the spot and appear as a new object.
